Whrest

In the Days of the Great War, the Whrest were lowly undead. They are uniquely created by the embrace of the Darklings (q.v.) and are a type of zombie that scuttle and move and run with a lizardlike quality. Whrests can be used as raw industrial material to create Skeldahr, and a single Whrest is about as strong as a typical adult male, but a fair bit harder to kill. Whrests are not cannibalistic and have a lowly intelligence. They can instinctively use simple melee weapons, and they have a born predisposition to obey all the "Golem" minions of the Dark Lord. Whrests are immune to cold.
