Lovecraft Ghouls

Lovecraft's Ghouls have always existed on Earth. Working in utmost secret their existence is wellknown by governments and vampires and magi, and they are known to barter in discrete knowledge and services. A typical ghoul stands taller than a human, lives for centuries, and has qualities suggestive of Hyena, Nosferatu and crertain degenerate species of werewolf. They eat dead bodies that had a soul, and thereby recycle things back into the cosmic collective. They can be quite ruthless, and they have magical abilities but some can be entertaining conversationalists. It's common for one to eat the cadaver of a recently diseased human and to have an inquisitive conversation with the corpse while doing so.

Ghouls have a culture with strong historical human aspects. They speak mostly European languages.
